Bev Perdue (Dec. 7, 2012)<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"style184\">\u201cThis letter is to inform you that your request for a commutation of sentence on behalf of Mr. Chandler has been reviewed and denied.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style184\">\u201cIf he would like to reapply, he may do so three years from the date of this\u00a0letter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"style360\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>\u2013\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.littlerascalsdaycarecase.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/140325Hansen.pdf\">Letter to Montgomery from Pat Hansen<\/a>,\u00a0Governor\u2019s Clemency Office (March 25, 2014<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"style184\">So ends the latest of Andrew Junior Chandler\u2019s repeated attempts to find a path out of Avery-Mitchell Correctional Institution, where he has spent the past 27 years for a crime neither he nor anyone else committed. He may in fact be the last still-imprisoned victim of the &#8220;satanic ritual abuse&#8221; day care panic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style184\">\u201cI don&#8217;t know what they have against me,\u201d Junior told me by phone this week.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know either \u2013 I don\u2019t even know who \u201cthey\u201d are.
