The prosecutor (the same who prosecuted Bob Kelly) alleged that Junior would drive off his route to a park by a river, strip the children of their clothes, troop them down to the river, put them in a rowboat, commit various sexual acts, put them back on the bus and take them home.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style66\">Based almost exclusively on hearsay and expert \u2018vouching,\u2019 Junior was convicted in 1987, and sentenced to two life sentences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style66\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-127\" src=\"http:\/\/www.littlerascalsdaycarecase.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/12\/111023Figured.jpg\" alt=\"111023Figured\" width=\"100\" height=\"150\" \/>\u201cPat Figured was supposed to have driven from North Raleigh to Smithfield over his lunch hour to stick a screwdriver into the anal openings of his girlfriend\u2019s two children. (UNC Chapel Hill) psychologist Mark Everson testified that the children \u2018had been abused by Mr. Pat Figured.\u2019 Pat was convicted in 1993 and sentenced to life in prison.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"style66\"><a href=\"http:\/\/caselaw.findlaw.com\/nc-supreme-court\/1536576.html\" target=\"_blank\">Here<\/a>\u00a0is the North Carolina Supreme Court\u2019s 2010 decision that kept Andrew Chandler Jr. a\/k\/a Junior Chandler in prison.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style66\">And\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20130303182743\/http:\/\/members.shaw.ca\/imaginarycrimes\/figured.htm\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>\u00a0is a thorough history of Pat Figured\u2019s case.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style66\">The fate of Chandler and Figured is surely appalling.
