Ray<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">April 10, 2016<\/p>\n<p>\u201c(Daniel Green\u2019s) Durham-based defense team says it has new evidence that challenges major parts of the prosecution\u2019s case, while bolstering their request for a new trial. They claim that misleading testimony and misconduct by the prosecutor and jury helped send Green to prison for (the 1993 murder of James Jordan) he did not commit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe evidence outlined in court documents includes&#8230; a sworn statement from the jury forewoman who admits she did her own investigation of Jordan\u2019s murder, which violated a judge\u2019s order. Paula Locklear says that during the trial, she visited the South Carolina creekside where the body was found and developed her own theory on how the killing occurred. A Charlotte legal expert says her action amounts to a \u2018tremendous problem\u2019 for the original case and could get Green\u2019s conviction overturned&#8230;.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\"><em>\u2013 From \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.charlotteobserver.com\/news\/local\/crime\/article70914697.html\" target=\"_blank\">New questions raised in slaying case of Michael Jordan\u2019s father<\/a>\u201d\u00a0by Michael Gordon and Mark Washburn in the Charlotte Observer (April 9) (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.littlerascalsdaycarecase.org\/?p=2095\">cached<\/a>)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sound familiar? It should! As a juror in Bob Kelly\u2019s trial, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.littlerascalsdaycarecase.org\/?p=1039\">Dennis T.
