This is from Erika Rowell, program coordinator for D2L: \u201cAfter taking a long look at the Survivorship website we have decided to remove it from our resource list.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"style184\">\u25a0 The North Carolina Supreme Court\u2019s latest release on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/appellate.nccourts.org\/petitions.php\" target=\"_blank\">petitions allowed and denied<\/a>\u00a0included no ruling on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.littlerascalsdaycarecase.org\/?p=385\">Junior Chandler\u2019s appeal<\/a>. Next possible release date: June 14.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style184\">\u25a0 The New York Times reports a jarring increase in the number of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2012\/04\/17\/science\/rise-in-scientific-journal-retractions-prompts-calls-for-reform.html?pagewanted=1&amp;src=twr\" target=\"_blank\">retractions published in scientific journals<\/a>.
